The University of Toledo Chooses Agilon's Fundraising and Fund Accounting Solution
(PRWEB) November 23, 2009 -- The University of Toledo Foundation (Foundation) has chosen to partner with Agilon, LLC. as its new donor management and financial system provider. Agilon's ONE donor database solution will replace the Foundation's existing Ascend fundraising database system which has been in use since 1991. In addition the Foundation will deploy Agilon's Business Financials - powered by Agresso - as its new fund accounting system.
The comprehensive solution will bring together users across multiple divisions of the campus including the Foundation, Office of Development, and the Alumni Association. The solution will help these units leverage their resources to better serve their alumni, donors, and friends by expanding and improving access to key information, ensuring accountability, and streamlining business processes.
The new system will modernize the Foundation's operations and maximize its resources in fundraising, prospect management, communications, stewardship, alumni memberships, and financial reporting. The system is expected to go live in June 2010.
"Agilon's fundraising and fund accounting systems provide the Foundation with the framework and tools needed to achieve our vision of process innovation and efficiency in operations, financial reporting, donor prospecting, development, solicitation, and stewardship," says Vern Snyder, Vice President for Institutional Advancement at the University of Toledo. "This project will enable us to expand stakeholder involvement in fundraising efforts throughout the University, and empower Development Directors to effectively manage all aspects of their relationships with their prospects."
"Agilon's intuitive web access and on-demand reporting environment will improve the way we do business by allowing staff to make improved strategic decisions based on relevant, timely and accurate information," says Brenda Lee, President of the University of Toledo Foundation.
"The Foundation has chosen Agilon as their fundraising and fund accounting system partner to implement the technology and processes they need to be successful in their next capital campaign," says David Best, President and CEO of Agilon. "By implementing the technology now, the Foundation can leverage its resources and streamline its processes quickly and cost-effectively, and begin realizing benefits in their next fiscal year."
